We are currently seeking new board members from the business community. Our
board meetings are held once each month, Thursday evenings in Long Beach.
(Current board members are from Los Angeles, Orange County and Long Beach)
We are also looking for a volunteer Administrative
staff member, someone with a business background, good people skills and
an interest and passion for the arts --- dance in particular. This job
is part-time and can be done from home since the company does not maintain
office space. There is flexibility in the work schedule. Job duties include:
telephone and written correspondence, marketing RIT's annual Los Angeles
and Orange County performance seasons, liaison with LAUSD for our annual
children's program at the Japan America Theatre, travel itineraries and
arrangements associated with touring and assisting with special events
such as master classes and workshops. This might be ideal for someone
who has taken early retirement and has enthusiasm for dance, spare time
